What is procrastination? How does procrastination affect your life? procrastination is something that causes you to delay or postpone doing something or accomplishing something. In case, your professor gives you as assignment to do. He gives you 10 days to do it, but you wait until the last day to do it. You think because of the day and the time length of the assignment is long, you will just do it tomorrow even though you can do it today. Unfortunately, tomorrow you are busy with housework and your parents need you to help selling goods, so you help. And then you say again, "Ok", i will do the assignment tomorrow. Pretty soon tomorrow becomes tomorrow, again and again, tomorrow never comes! Finally, the deadline come and you rushed to do it. Even tough you can complete the work, it won't be best of work because it is not well-prepared and you are rushed to finish. This is an example if the how procrastination affects your success.
"Never Wait Tomorrow What You Can Do Today"
Krom Gnoy, a very famous Cambodia poet once said, 'If you do something , you must finish it, Never keep something you do not finish for others to see. It is bad heritage.'
Another quote said 'Procrastination kills your opportunity.' Yes, it is 100% true. Procrastination will lead you to be late to do something and you will lost your great opportunities. Time and opportunities will never come back the same. Moreover, there are many chances to accomplish things very day. If you procrastinate, you will cut off these opportunities away. You must catch opportunities. Imagine, there is a company and announcement to choose an employee for a promotion. You delay until the deadline, even though you are selected for an interview. Your percentage to chosen is almost zero, because the company will not think you are a punctual person, they might choose the early candidates who are good as you are and be punctual. They will think you are very careless person. Sadly, some people complain they can not get a good job or any job, but they never ask themselves why the company doesn't select them. You have to ask yourself why you aren't chosen.
